In Rise, you play as a young girl who wakes up one day to find that she is completely in black and white. Something has stolen her color. She must quest through a black and white world to get it back from the creature that stole it, and escape from the darkness back into the light.
This game is still a prototype/work in progress and was started in 2017 and "completed" in 3-4 months as the focus of my spring thesis while at MICA. So far, it is mainly an exploration of mechanics, which at this point involve collecting different colored crystals that let you interact with the environment.
